Situated in the heart of the Pikes Peak region, the Woodland Park Saddle Club has long been a community gathering place for residence of Teller County since 1947. In recent years, the club has been going through change. The club sold their property in downtown Woodland Park to the Woodland Park Downtown Development Authority. The Club then relocated to 23 acres on the South side of Hwy 24 between Wal-Mart and Safeway in Woodland Park. Membership decided to sell the 23 acres and re-establish itself on 40 acres in Divide, Colorado. On April 12, we completed the purchase of the 40 acres in Divide and will hopefully begin construction this summer of an outdoor arena so that we can move all events to our new home. Meanwhile, we remain an active club with Gymkhanas, parades and trail rides planned throughout the summer of 2013. Please visit our calendar, newsletter and events sections for more information!
The Woodland Park Saddle Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is operated by a board of 4 Officers and 7 Directors, along with volunteers. The club currently has over 250 members.
We are “Roping Our Past and Riding Into the Future” with new and exciting plans. Please check back for more information on our new facility and plans for the future.
